There are fundraisers coming up for the spring/summer that earn us money for the next season. These are the dates of the events:

• Saturday March 27th @ East High School - JROTC Banquet
• May 16th @ Chugiak High School - Gold Nugget Triathlon
• June 19th @ Arctic Valley Road - Mayor's Marathon

Also, the end of season banquet is scheduled for Monday March 29th at 5:30p in the Dimond Auditeria. It is a potluck style dinner. Please bring a dish to share with everyone.

Lastly, those interested in continuing their training and improvement in skiing through the spring/summer months should consider joining a club program. There are several programs in Anchorage that focus on skiing. Here are three local club programs in Anchorage:

• Alaska Nordic Racing - Ja Dorris (World Cup wax tech.) heads this non-profit program. Spring training group
• Alaska Pacific University - Holly Brooks (Olympian) is a coach for this program.
• Alaska Winter Stars - Jan Buron (World Cup athlete) coaches this program.
