2:20p - Meet by the locker rooms. If I can get a bus we will be skiing instead of circuits. Be prepared for both! BUS LEAVES AT 2:20p!!! We will be classic skiing. Please be ready to leave by 2:20p with the buses loaded. We will be doing a long easy ski (Level 2). Some will be working on technique as well. |

2:20p - Meet by the locker rooms. BUS LEAVES AT 2:20p!!! We will be doing a time trial. I will open the ski room before school at 7:15a until 7:25a for those dropping off skis. Warm-Up: 20 minutes, Interval starts 2 athletes every 20 seconds, Cool Down: 20 minutes. Results |

Wednesday |
2:20p - Meet by the locker rooms. BUS LEAVES AT 2:20p!!! We will be doing a long ski and technique work - V2 alternate vs. V1 and V2, transitions, when to use what, using your "non-dominate" side. THIS PRACTICE MAY BE AT DIMOND BECAUSE OF RECENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. PLEASE COME TO PRACTICE READY TO RUN AS WELL. |

6:00a (optional practice) - DHS Pool ($3 per time or
$27 for a 10-punch pass). We will be lap swimming. |

Friday |
2:20p - Wax day. Please bring your skate skis to practice to wax for the Service Snowball Skate race. We have not glide waxed as a team before so many of the Jr. and Sr. athletes will be demonstrating and helping others wax their skis. Everyone helps set-up or take-down (clean-up) before leaving. I will also hand out start lists for the race. |

Saturday |
11:00a - This is our first race of the season. We will be taking a bus to Service high. The bus departure from Dimond is 9:30a. The race is an interval start format and starts from Service High school. There will also awards held after the race. All athletes are to stay for the awards. Parents, you may take your student-athlete home after the race. Please check with one of the coaches before taking off. |

Sunday |
Day off. Please use today as a recovery day. If you have a build up of lactic acid (sore muscles) from the race, be sure to do something active to get the blood flowing for at least 20 minutes. It does not have to be skiing. |
