TOUR OF ANCHORAGE (March 4th @ Kincaid Stadium) 8a-3p
Dimond cross country skiers hosts the final aid station located at the finish line of the tour of Anchorage which is in the stadium at Kincaid. If you would like to help with the finish line, please contact Shelly Laws. The list of athletes who have signed up and the times they signed up for is Link here.
JROTC AWARDS BANQUET (March 31st @ East High School) Time TBA
Dimond cross country skiers help serve and clean up at the JROTC banquet at the end of March. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Nate Normandin

| End of Season Banquet/Potluck |
The end of season banquet and award ceremony is Tuesday February 28th in Dimond's Multi-Purpose Room 1. It is going to be a potluck style banquet. Please bring something that can serve 6-8 people!

| Biathlon Information |
Yesterday during practice (Monday 1/23) many of the athletes had the opportunity to shoot in the rifle range at Dimond High. Why did I bring the team to shoot at the rifle range? Because Biathlon is a olympic sport that many people don't realize exists. Basically, individuals ski with a rifle on their back and shoot 5 targets every lap in different positions (usually standing or prone).
There is a biathlon association in town that opens the range at Kincaid every week (or more than once a week) and gives people opporunities to shoot. There are also races that occur every so often as well.

| Starting Next Week (Tuesday 1-17) |
Starting Tuesday 1/17 I will be opening the weight room for morning circuits. This is one more way to help your strength before we get to the end of the season. Days the weight room will be open:
Tuesday 6a-7a
Thursday 6a-7a
I know it's pretty early, however, those of you wanting to get a little more strength work in before the end of the season rolls around, this is your opportunity.
